All the hype was true! An awesome game from start to finish. USC fans may gripe about the touchdown that wasn’t, but they scored on that drive that had the Longhorn intercetion that wasn’t! More to come later!

T’was the NIGHT OF THE ROSE BOWL

T’was the night of the Rose Bowl…and all through the land,
All the Longhorns were stirring, even the band.
The tickets were purchased for the game, room, and air…
In hopes that “Saint Vincent” would soon be there!!

The fans were tailgating from their truck beds,
While a vision of a championship danced in their heads.

With a 70-3 domination of Colorado, Texas gets another trip to the Rose Bowl, but with slightly different implications. Last year it was a chance to show that Texas (and Mack Brown) could win a big game. This year the game will decide the National Championship. USC has to win against UCLA today for the matchup we have been waiting for all year. It should be a great matchup of the top 3 Heisman candidates. Hopefully our defense can figure out a way to stop Reggie Bush and bring home their first National Championship in my lifetime.
