It sounds like you had a great time. Susan and I had the opportunity to see a bit of the Caprock and the Quitaque on our trip back from Mer Colwell's funeral. The Caprock IS astounding!! Lots of Texas history is found along the Caprock and Paloduro Canyons. And just a bit of Peeples' family history is found in the Panhandle. The Caprock is a seriously lonesome place, if you let it be. I'm sure that weekend, the Caprock was blessed with your presence, and not a lonesome moment was found.
